Late Summer Evening Maternity Session
Today I’m thrilled to sharing one of my first maternity shoots, with Jamie and Vince expecting their first, a baby boy! Their nursery theme is woodland and wild- and so when we selected my favorite location, perfect for wildflowers at sunset, I was beside myself.
My favorite spot among the willows is different this year, with a tree fallen and preventing us from that spot, but we managed to find some other amazing locations for photos.
Jamie and Vince are old friends, and they drove two hours just to have their photo session-and dinner-with me. But I felt like I was the lucky one, getting to capture these two, soon to be three!
And the bridge! Finally open, so I could get some of those lily pads in. This lake is so pretty and full of amazing creatures. We did experience some wicked mosquito bites that I will have to keep in mind- maybe no sandals next time!
And I couldn’t let them leave without surrounding mom-to-be with the beautiful planters in this Aurora park, the perfect complement and finale for our session celebrating the little one.
Congratulations Jamie and Vince, you’re both going to be wonderful parents! The love for your little one I can already see shining and every photo is so powerful. It’s life changing and awesome, I’m excited for you to experience parenthood.
