About Photo Sessions by Rosy Days Photography

All Rosy Days Photography sessions include my time with you and your family, a package of fully edited digital photos delivered by USB or download, and an option to purchase prints after your session. Learn more about the different types of sessions I offer, including families, babies and children, teens and couples. Sessions range from 30 minutes to an hour and between 5-20 photos depending the package you select.

You can reserve your date when you book online with a $50 deposit or contact me for additional options.

 

Frequently Asked Questions

What should I expect from my session?
I will send you a questionnaire after you book your session so I can learn more about you and your expectations from your session. Sessions will include a variety of poses and close ups. I often bring one or two props such as a blanket, chair or stool. I will also happily incorporate any special treasure you’d like included in your photos. Your session fee already includes fully edited digital photos and rights to print your photos anywhere you choose. However, it does not include rights to alter the photos in any way.

When will I receive my photos?
Digital photos will be available for preview within 1 week of your session in a private client gallery. Your final photos and a print release certificate will be delivered after review via a link for download or with a USB for additional fee.

What if it rains or is too cold to be outside?
Spring weather can be variable and your session may be rescheduled due to thunderstorms, weather warnings and watches, and wind and rain or low temperatures that would make it impossible for me to photograph outdoors or too uncomfortable for you or your family. If the weather looks threatening, but it is not raining prior to our session, I will be in contact with you so we may make a decision to reschedule together.

How can I prepare for my session?
Take care to remove temporary tattoos and chipped nail polish. If you want a haircut before your session, I recommend getting one a week in advance so you can be used to your new style. I recommend coordinating, but not necessarily matching, outfits. Include a variety of print, plaid or layered solids in your look. Do avoid brand logos if you don’t want them in your photos. Year round, no matter the colors you choose, your family will look wonderful in my hands!

Where will my session take place?
If you have a park, gazebo, field or other place you know you’d like your photos taken, please let me know at least two weeks in advance of your session so I have time to review the light and location. If you would like photos inside or outside your own home, I’d love to schedule a time to come visit before your session. I’m also happy to recommend some locations for your session and will provide recommendations in your welcome packet you receive after booking your session.

Can I include my pet(s) in our session?
Pets are welcome for an additional $25 each. I recommend bringing a friend who is not participating in your photos to help by holding treat incentives and the leash when the pet is not being photographed. Please let me know at least two weeks in advance of your session if you would like to bring a pet and I will invoice you the additional fee via paypal.

Can I change my time/date after my session is booked?
Please ensure the date/time you select works for you when you book your session. If unforeseen exceptional circumstances prevent either of us from meeting at our scheduled time, we will work together on rescheduling your session. Your deposit is nonrefundable.

Save
