Sunset in Hudson: Group Portraits
This was another special photography session for this extended family group! The session took place over Labor Day weekend, when everyone was able to be together.
Whenever I take photos of multi-generational families who gather together for portrait sessions, I always cross my fingers and toes for no rain! Thankfully, we had a perfect evening to work with.
Our must-have photos included grandchildren and grandparents together, each family together, and sibling portraits. Hudson Springs always has such a wonderful variety of backdrops, and we made the most of each area during our time together.
I love putting together a group portrait when we can pose at different heights. This particular shot was so fun to do!
I’m always willing to get my feet wet if I have to, as I did in this series of shots. I love the depth the darker background gives to the photos. The water was higher than the last time I was here though 🙂
We finished with a final group shot on the dock, which is beautiful just after the sun goes behind the trees in front of them. I hope you treasure your photos, thanks again for letting me be part of your holiday weekend and family gathering!
