Senior Photos in Downtown Kent
This was my first opportunity to photograph a senior portrait session in downtown Kent. This area is so versatile, with great architecture from bridges, boardwalk, trail and classic brick buildings.
It’s a great location for any senior session, and it was perfect for Nico who came dressed in a classic suit and alternate polo shirt. This combination really lent itself to a variety of poses without creating the need for extended time for changes of clothes.
Nico’s half smile relaxed into full grins and soft serious faces as we moved from the bridge to the boardwalk at Franklin Mills Riveredge Park.
We had to reschedule a couple times due to rain earlier this season, but it was well worth the wait with the trail lush and green with bright blue sky the day of our session.
I love this classic senior portrait with the textured ivy! Despite the warmth of the day, Nico shrugged in and out of his suit jacket a couple times during our session so we could get a classic formal shot in front of this lightly shaded area.
This awesome painted bridge is where the weekly Kent farmer’s market is. We took our photos on Sunday afternoon so we were able to get a full view of this awesome spot.
